10U Academics Program
Havoc Scholar Pledge
Champions in the classroom, too.
The classroom matters
What happens in the classroom matters just as much as what happens on the softball field. School and academics are part of the Havoc culture. We want our players to understand that being a student comes first.
At Havoc Elite, being a great teammate doesn't stop at the field. We care about effort and good habits, not perfect grades. The pledge is a promise each player makes to herself, her family and her team.
- Grades
- Attendance
- Effort
- Responsibility
- Preparation
The habits that build a better athlete also build a stronger future.
My player pledge
I promise that…
- I do my homework before practice and games.
- I respect my teachers and my classmates.
- I ask for help when I'm stuck. Asking is brave!
- I'm a good teammate at school and at home.
- I bring my best effort to the classroom, just like I do on the field.
How it works
Monthly check-in
A parent or teacher fills out a quick card on effort and habits, not grades. Return it to the Team Manager by the 1st of each month.
Havoc Scholar of the Month
Each month we celebrate a Havoc Scholar with a team shout-out, a crown helmet sticker, and she gets to carry the team bag!
Support first
If school gets hard, we help first. Talk: a private chat with her and her parents. Help: a study buddy or homework huddle before practice. Only then: small limits, like sitting out a warm-up role. Never a whole game.
Parent / guardian commitment
- Support a steady homework routine at home.
- Fill out and return the Monthly Check-In card by the 1st of each month.
- Talk with the coaches if school gets tough, so we can help her together.
